Abstract:

The project "Ambassadors of Science in Pomology through Technology and Education in High Schools" promotes interactive and innovative education in the field of sustainable agriculture, with a special focus on pomology, aiming to prepare high school and technical college students for scientific careers and to shape informed citizens capable of addressing the challenges of a continuously changing world. The project seeks to develop practical and theoretical skills through applied activities such as lectures in educational institutions, laboratory visits, thematic scientific workshops, and competitions. Through scientific caravans and a final awards event, the project fosters collaboration among students, teachers, and researchers, contributing to the creation of a community dedicated to sustainable education. The use of advanced technologies and an interactive platform supports the dissemination of results, while visual materials and a best practices brochure ensure the efficient replication of the educational model. The project's impact is reflected in the formation of 125 "Ambassadors of Science," the involvement of at least 5 coordinating teachers, the promotion of modern education, and the cultivation of a sustainability culture among students, teachers, and local communities.
