I am a professor at the Faculty of Medicine of "Ovidius" University of Constanța, where I have been working since 1998. I am also a specialist in pulmonary medicine since 1991, with competencies in Somnology Level I and II (2015), special respiratory function tests (2004), health management (2009) and bronchology (2000). Clinical practise takes place at the Constanța Clinical Hospital of Pneumophthisiology. During my career, I have held numerous leadership positions: medical director, department head, district coordinator of PNPSCT. I am involved in research and have participated in more than 10 grants and more than 35 clinical trials. Currently, I am Head of the Department of Research and Innovation and honorary member of several international (ERS, ACCP) and national (SRP and subsections) professional associations.
