Abstract:
It is known that global overproduction of consumer goods has become an element of environmental pollution and
an element of social stress, with a clear decline of business in the field. In order to ensure that their products are sold
and losses will be minimal, companies are increasingly focusing on the innovative quality and use of IT for both risk
control and management and all aspects of product development and marketing, paying great attention to customers
their needs, from maximum comfort to sophisticated and subtle personalization. The notions of comfort and satisfaction
encompass the knowledge and use in the practice of production and marketing of the comfort science, but also those
related to the emotional and the experiential design. UX (user experience) factors have become the most popular set of
parameters in product development over the last decade, along with the semiotics of effective communication and
emotional structure of a product’s visual expression, leading to disruptive and highly innovative design technologies.
The idea of the UX-ED project was generated precisely by a syncopated design practice, noticing the internal inertia of
the beneficiary’s creative ecosystem. The project aims to create a working tool for the company’s creative personnel,
which consists in developing an internal design management IT system using a quick method of research of
inspirational data corroborated with brand, author, and community identity or elements of national identity.

Abstract:
The product of creative industries is not an amorphous product from the cultural identity point of view, but an active product, which means creativity, innovation and affiliation to a style and an ideational theme, therefore a cultural identity. At the present moment, Romanian does not have products with cultural identity because within the consumer goods the Romanian cultural element cannot be identified, so that there will be sustained that we have an autochthonous creative industry.
The inter-disciplinary research team of AAICREA project, which reunites anthropologists, ethnologists, ethnographers, art historians, artists, creative designers, engineers, economists and information technology (IT) specialists, wishes to answer the needs of Romanian creative industries to have cultural work instruments for the sustainable development of creative and innovative products with national cultural identity. By the project implementation, the creative industries products will not have a superior level of competitiveness on the European single market, the Romanian consumer horizon to a superior autochthonous product will be opened, a horizon comparable with the European one and which will be able to impose itself by examples of good practices, cultural self-education in innovative, liberal, industrial and commercial professions which will be able to participate, develop and impose by a sustainable growth within the “innovative-creative” European economy entered into “2020 Strategy” of the European Union.
The project proposes to decode, analyse and record the images of Romanian cultural archetypes and symbols evidenced in significant artefacts for the Romanian material, folk and cult culture as well as by art works, by research methods specific to ethnography, anthropology, archetypology, art history and design. By laboratory experiments, design methods and artistic practices, there will be analysed the mechanisms of creative development of design concepts with Romanian cultural identity, using not only the creative integration and moulding of some cultural patterns, but also the interpretation of some Romanian archaic archetypes, symbols or technologies. By the correlation of the two types of research: the research of cultural archetypes, symbols and patterns and the theoretical, historyographic and the exploratory applicative research, dominated by the experimentation in design, there will be elaborated not only a Repertoire of Images of Romanian cultural archetypes, symbols and patterns, but also work instruments and product development methods for designers, architects and artists, correlated from the Romanian symbolistic message communication point of view, reunited in The portal of cultural instruments for creative industries. “ZESTREA”- fashion collection, event it is a important applicative result.
The project will be able to contribute to the development of Romanian creative industries, offering to their specialists a Romanian thematic support valuable for its scientific foundation, but also cultural work instruments, design methods and services specialised in the construction of durable cultural identity of products. Also, by this project, the first portal of visual cultural instruments for creative industries and an interactive on-line platform for the development of an expert professional community on the importance of the increased value brought in products by their cultural identity will be accomplished. The industrial research and the product development will contribute to prove the practice utility of the Repertoire, as a tool for designers in designing products with plus value. The project will contribute to the sustainable development of creative industries and competitiveness by increasing accountability and performance man concept (artists, designers, architects, artisans) of the consumer product, advertising and media.
