Between 2001 and 2008, I studied at the University of Petrosani, where I obtained engineering degrees in the fields of mining surveying and automatic and industrial informatics, as well as a master's degree in human resources. Between 2006 and 2009, I followed doctoral studies in the field of Mines, Oil and Gas, completing the doctoral thesis entitled THE USE OF MODERN TECHNIQUES AND TECHNOLOGIES FOR THE CREATION OF A GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION SYSTEM IN THE AREAS AFFECTED BY MINING EXPLOITATIONS. The aim of the doctoral studies was to create a GIS in the areas affected by the mining operations, using technical and modern technologies, GIS (Geographic Information System) and GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System).
In this context, from 2006 until now the research activity was mainly focused on the fields of: GIS, Remote Sensing, Cartography and Cartographic Projections.
