Abstract:

The main objective of DILAN is to improve the ability of scientists to communicate their research results beyond the specialised community so that they reach diversified audiences and society at large.

The European Union has recognised that public communication of science is a key priority for society. To support this priority, DILAN will provide solutions for the digital transformation of human resources in research.

DILAN involves the creation of resources and materials in digital format, as well as online training courses and a MOOC with innovative learning/teaching practices.

In this way, DILAN will support the European scientific community (with a special focus on women researchers), enhancing their resilience and capacity to communicate on Web 2.0.

The resources will be designed for STEM and non-STEM areas and will also promote civic engagement, social responsibility and democratisation of science, as well as other key EU values (multilingualism, digital literacy learning, and citizens’ scientific literacy).

Abstract:

The project will develop scenarios for teacher education based on the identification of the teaching competences required to implement pluralistic approaches. These training tools will help language and other subject teachers to implement approaches aimed at developing learners' competences as described in the "Framework of reference for pluralistic approaches to languages and cultures (FREPA)".

This plurilingualist, multilingualist (French, English, Romanian) project offered young researchers in Central Europe opportunities for continuing academic development in the field of research methodology and for sharing and disseminating their work in progress.The area offered for investigation is linked to specific aspects of corpus building in the Humanities, a comprehensive field for researchers from literary and cultural studies, linguistics, FLT methodology. The thematic framework offered for discussion and debate by the autumn school

enables the 35 doctoral students from Romania and abroad to address key issues linked to the problems their own research is based on with established academics, researchers, PhD advisors who have accepted to contribute, on the basis of their knowledge and experience, to this broad scholarly conversation.

Abstract:

The project tries to establish the place of French in the linguistic repertoires of students coming from different geographical, cultural, linguistic backgrounds, but sharing the same area of interest (economics). Each of the four institutions selected students who agreed to communicate online inorder to share their experience and knowledge by interacting with peers in a foreign language in the chat rooms on subjects of specialization.

The researcher's team involved in the project examines the main difficulties of the communication in French as a Lingua Franca (intercultural, linguistic, pragmatical, didactics issues, etc.).

Abstract:

Language learning and social media: 6 key dialogues is a European network composed by 14 partner institutions of national, European and international reach. The aim of the network is to establish a better understanding of challenges and controversies of social media and their role in the development of language learning skillsthrough a set of activities involving participatory debates, award-winning competitions, policy recommendations and reports, scientific publications and field studies.

The unique mix of activities exploring the relationship of language learning and social media in the web 2.0 era, 14 partners of “Language learning and social media: 6 key dialogues” examine fundamental 6 dimensions with newly added 2 dimensions.
