I am a historian, professor at Babeș-Bolyai University, dean of the Faculty of History and Philosophy (since 2008), president of the History and Cultural Studies Commission of CNATDCU (since 2016) and member of the Humanities Commission of CNCS (since 2020) . I am qualified to conduct doctoral theses in history (since 2015). I am the coordinator, since 2008, of the journal Studia Universitatis Babeș-Bolyai, Historia (ERIH +). I am a member of the Society for 18th Century Studies on South Eastern Europe (SOG 18), Graz. My fields of research are History of Romania (in the Early Modern Period), History of the Greek-Catholic Church in Romania, History of the University of Cluj, Romanian-Cyrillic Paleography.
