My name is OLARU Mihaela and I am a scientific research assistant at the Research and Development Station for Fruit Tree Growing Baneasa, where I have been working for over three years in the field of plant protection. My work focuses on the identification and integrated control of diseases and pests affecting fruit species, with an emphasis on modern and sustainable technologies.
I actively participate in research and development projects, such as ADER 6.3.1 where I study the impact of conservation systems on the protection of fruit shrubs under drought conditions – and the BIOARCA project, which aims to enhance biodiversity in fruit growing. I am particularly interested in applying digital solutions in phytoprotection, including automated traps, sensor-based monitoring, mobile applications.
