The professional activity is carried out within the Faculty of Geography of the Babeș-Bolyai University, being a teaching staff with the position of associate professor, and the research activity is carried out both at the Faculty of Geography and within the Geographical Research Center of the Romanian Academy, Cluj Napoca Branch, the center of which he coordinates the research activity as the head of the center. The research activity is combined with the teaching activity, the results obtained as a result of the defining of the research plans and themes are presented as case studies and technical methodologies for implementing geoinformational models within the courses and practical works that he supports.
