Academic & Teaching
With over 35 years in military higher education, I am a specialist in military sciences and mechanical engineering, focused on tanks and automotive technology[cite: 1]. At the "Nicolae Bălcescu" Land Forces Academy in Sibiu, I teach Program and Project Management, Armored Vehicle Systems, and Military Equipment Life Cycle Management[cite: 1]. Since 2007, I have served as a PhD supervisor at the "Carol I" National Defense University in Bucharest[cite: 1].
Managerial & Industrial
My background includes leading the armored vehicle production and repair unit at the Mizil Mechanical Plant, overseeing more than 450 employees[cite: 1]. In academia, I have served as Dean and Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Security and Defense at the "Carol I" National Defense University. Additionally, I am an expert evaluator for national and international research programs, Vice President of the Project Management Romania Association (IPMA), and a member of SAE and FISITA.
